My name is Pam Hahn and I have lived in Slave Lake with my family since 2004. I married my best friend, Dave in 1995 and together we raised one son and two daughters.  Working with children, adults and families has been a constant since I was sixteen years old. My vocation has evolved from a swimming instructor, to a St. John Ambulance Instructor, and a certified teacher, which I intentionally put to use as a home school mom for eight years. Along the way, I also shared my talents with other families as a home education teacher facilitator, school librarian and community volunteer.  Helping others is what I do best and what I truly enjoy.

As my family matures, I have an opportunity to share my experience as a parent, my knowledge as a doula, my aptitude for educating and my passion for serving families in our community with various birth services.  I was excited to pursue my long held interest in birth and completed my training in October 2016 with a DONA International approved instructor. In April and May 2018, I earned both my Childbirth Educator and  Lactation Educator certifications to better support clients. I have since also earned the international certification as a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.

It is an honour each time I partner with a woman and her support team, building on one another’s natural strengths, to welcome a new child. Supporting women and their families to have their best birth experience is my business.
